Are you for or against it ?
I don't like how this women participate just to show their beauty, it makes women look like an object. Of course for the men its great to see women in bathing suits.

Well i belive that those days the beauty contests are not only about outside look and also about thing like intelect ( rearly :D ), kindness, goodness, insightful, etc etc.
And don't forget that there are also contests about men too, although they are not that popular.

I have to agree with you. The objectives of beauty contest is not only based on physical aspects of a woman but most importantly the intellect and talents.
