Hi... I found you on digg, and thought it would be a perfect place to pose a very random question. (Sorry if this is in the wrong section, didn't see a health section)
I was wondering if anybody here has ever done a body detox? See, i'm about 100lbs overweight, and my new years resolution was to drop 100lbs during 2009. I've been eating better, and exercising more. I run/walk at least one mile everyday. eat as much fruit as I can during the day. I've already lost 14lbs since the beginning of the year, which is good... but i'm still far from reaching my goal.
Anyways... my cousin is a big health-nut (emphasis on the nut) and she told me that I could do a
liver cleanse and/or
colon cleanse and this will help speed up my results. She agreed that diet and exercise is the most important lifestyle change I can make... but told me these will help.
But, they sound very scary to me... and i haven't met anybody else that has ever done one of these cleanses... so, i'm wondering if anybody can give me any insight on it. Thanks, in advance.
